Three Findings in This Snapshot

1. Case volume is concentrated. New York City, NY has the largest published grant-or-denial denominator in the court aggregate, with 419,141 decided outcomes.

2. Court averages vary substantially. Among courts with at least 5,000 decided outcomes, rates range from 1.6% at Stewart, GA to 46.1% at New York City, NY. The unweighted median for this large-sample group is 10.5%.

3. Nationality mix matters. Mexico is the largest published nationality aggregate in this snapshot (360,858 decided outcomes), but court-specific rates for the same nationality can differ sharply. Use the focused court comparisons before interpreting any overall rate.
